Malaysia is an ideal tourist destination, and I was excited to spend my December holiday there as a solo traveler last year. It was a dream come true to visit this beautiful country, known for its great shopping. My first challenge was deciding where to stay to make the most of my trip.

I once went for a massage at 1 a.m. and grabbed a burger at 2 a.m. – a paradise for night owls!

There are also plenty of budget-friendly hotels nearby for those watching their expenses. Keep in mind that a lavish hotel isn’t necessary if you plan to spend most of your time exploring, but a comfortable place to stay is always nice.
